MIDWEEK MESSAGE – November 29, 2023

It is easy to have faith when life is going as we want it, but when you are in that space between what was and what is to be, it takes trust, more than faith, to get us through.

We can have faith in God or any other Higher Power we believe in, but it takes trust when you don’t know what lies ahead in the unknown. For me, trust is the ability to believe that whatever lies ahead, God has my back, and although it may be different, it will always be good.

One of my favorite sayings is, “God’s Will won’t take me, where God’s grace will not keep me.”  I often affirm that when in that space between the two trapezes of “past and future.”

It sounds great, but sometimes it is difficult until I remember to let go and surrender, knowing I only need to do what is the next right thing in front of me.  We can only live in this moment, and remembering that allows us to live our lives one day at a time – whether we like it or not!

Quote of the Week

“Somewhere between the bottom of the climb and the summit is the answer to the mystery of why we climb.”
