Midweek Message – Feb 27, 2013

Greetings!

I love movies in which the hero stands up for what he/she believes in – in spite of what others may say or think. It is not easy standing up for what we believe is Truth in the face of doubt, fear, or misunderstanding.

But if we look at the Hero’s Journey, it is an important and necessary process for the hero to be victorious. This is not only true in fiction but in life as well. It is something that many such as Lincoln, Gandhi, King and others not only believed but, also, died for.

We all have times in our life when we must decide if we are to stand up for Truth or give in to circumstances or what others say. Each time we do take a stand for Truth not only do we grow but we become a vehicle to help our world become a better place.

Quote of the Week

“There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth;
not going all the way, and not starting.”
