MIDWEEK MESSAGE – March 22, 2023

There is an expression, “if you want to make God laugh, tell It your plans”.

I had these grand plans of when I would move, do my last Sunday, and work my last day at Sephora; in other words, I had made perfect plans. At least, I thought they were, but my Higher Power had other ideas.

And so, I had to go back to the drawing board. As a result, I have pushed my last Sunday to April 30th. It is a better date because Easter is a special day that needs to be celebrated for what it is.

It is essential to remember that as we make plans for our lives, we are not too attached to them going as planned. Even when it seemed to make no sense to me as to why things were not going my way, in the long term, God’s Order is usually what is, in Truth, the best for me.

Gratefully I am reminded of this fairly regularly.
