MIDWEEK MESSAGE – Novemeber 13, 2024
Yesterday, I was at the Dentist’s office – not one of my favorite places – but on the wall was a sign that said, “Yesterday’s history, Tomorrow is your future, Today is your life. Live it.”
I thought, “What a great or missing the past, or thinking about what is to come that we often don’t pay attention to the present, the “now,” and therefore miss many of life’s gifts.
If we are too busy in the past or the future, we wake up one day and realize we have missed life’s gifts when they occur, and those gifts become our past regrets.
Consequently, we can spend so much time worrying about the future, which never materializes, that we experience unnecessary pain over things that often never happen.
None of us know how much time we have on this planet; why waste it? Let’s commit to using our time on earth, truly living our lives with love, kindness, and appreciation for all of life, one day at a time, one minute at a time, one instant at a time.
Quote of the Week
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
