MIDWEEK MESSAGE – November 30, 2022

Here we are, the beginning of Advent, and Christmas is just around the corner.

The word Advent means “coming” or “arrival.” Advent symbolizes our spiritual journey as we affirm that Christ has been born again within us and that, as such, he is present in the world today.

The first Sunday during Advent is about hope. Hope means wanting an outcome that makes your life better in some way. It can help make a challenging present situation more bearable and eventually improve our lives because envisioning a better future motivates you to take steps to make it happen.

Hope generally means a desire for things to change for the better. Hope can also provide the key to making everyday life better. That’s because just envisioning something hopeful – the child seeing herself riding her new bike, for example – gives a person a moment of happiness.
So what are you hoping for this holiday season? The most important thing is to not give up on our hopes. When Pure Being
powers our hope, our lives are filled with happiness, joy, freedom, and peace.

Quote of the Week
“Hope is a match in a dark tunnel, a moment of light, just enough to reveal the path ahead and ultimately the way out.”
