MIDWEEK MESSAGE – March 12, 2025

It is interesting how so often we receive the blessings in life disguised as challenges.

Last week we were scheduled to go to Amsterdam on Friday. We had our train tickets, our hotel reservations, and tickets for some attractions we wanted to visit.

However as often occurs in life, plans often do not pan out.

It seemed a live WW II land mine was uncovered near the station. All trains out of the station were cancelled.

We were able to change trains to another day but not our hotel. We fortunately got another room and so 3 days later off we went.

What seemed like a disruption in plans turned out to be a blessing.  We got to spend a magical day in Paris and when we got to Amsterdam the hotel was so much nicer than our previously booked hotel and they gave us a free upgrade in our room.

The whole experience was once more a nudge from the Universe that we always look for blessings in disguise in life.

Quote of the Week

“What seems to us bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.”

Oscar Wilde
