MIDWEEK MESSAGE – March 11, 2020

Franklin D. Roosevelt said years ago, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”. He was talking about the Depression and he understood that if we are paralyzed with fear, we are unable to be open to receiving Divine Ideas as to how to either overcome the fear or walk through it.

When we allow fear to rule our lives, our happiness and our well-being we are doing more harm to ourselves than some of the things we are avoiding. Fear causes the body to tighten up and brings stress to not just the mind but the body as well, and it has been proven that stress is the number one cause of many diseases.

Fear loses its grip on us when we can see it as just an obstacle in our spiritual development. Fear comes from the material world while the help we need to overcome the fear comes from the spiritual realm. Therefore, to overcome fear, we must have a Higher consciousness that sees fear as an illusion that keeps us from the life we seek.

When we accept the fear, we can then ask for Divine Guidance as to what is ours to do. We can then move forward by not letting fear take such a stronghold on us. When we find the solution, we need to walk through the fear or just realize that which we feared is nothing to be feared at all.

Quote of the Week

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”
Luke 12:32
