MIDWEEK MESSAGE – June 4, 2025

On this date, 35 years ago, I made a decision that would change my life in ways I could never have imagined. At the time, I thought I was only deciding not to drink.

I had no idea of the profound impact it would have on my life. The change it brought led me to a relationship with a Power greater than myself, which I choose to call God. It introduced me to Unity and brought Christopher into my life. Additionally, it placed many angels on my path who would profoundly influence who I am today.

But more than those things, that single decision gave me a life beyond my wildest imagination. It provided me with friendships, a closer relationship with family, a more positive outlook on the world, as well as a new perspective on myself.

It taught me values such as forgiveness, kindness, compassion, and generosity, among others. I will always be grateful that on June 4th, 1990, I stepped into a room full of strangers and found myself a home, as well as a family that understands, supports, and has wisely guided me throughout the years.

I am eternally grateful for the faith, principles, people, and program that have helped me navigate life, regardless of what it brings.

Quote of the Week

“If you’re serious about changing your life, you’ll find a way. If you’re not, you’ll find an excuse.”
