MIDWEEK MESSAGE – January 22, 2020

All of us have, at one time or another, had someone come into our life (sometimes for a very short time), who makes a difference – sometimes big, sometimes small – but always, as a result, we are changed for the better.

I believe that such people are angels, people come into our lives to help us through a tough time or guide us to a direction we may not have taken without them. Then there are the angels who just bring us love, compassion, and understanding so we know someone cares about us.

Often angels are complete strangers who, just by giving us a smile, a hug, an ear to listen, show us that the world is not just filled with disasters, war, and hatred, but is, also, filled with love, generosity, compassion, and hope.

Who are, or were, the angels in your life? When were you an angel in the life of someone else? Remember it is often the smallest acts of kindness that make the biggest difference.

Be an angel. Not only will you be blessing someone else but you will be blessed as well!

Quote of the Week

“I believe there are angels among us, sent down to us from somewhere up above. They come to you and me in our darkest hours, to show us how to live, to teach us how to give, to guide us with a light of love.” Helen Keller
