MIDWEEK MESSAGE – January 12, 2022

I am writing this on a train trip to Seattle. I have always wanted to take a train trip and sleep on a train. I am now fulfilling a dream. Unfortunately, instead of the usual excitement before a new adventure, I was filled with trepidation.

Not about the train ride itself, but how we were going to manage to get to the train with all the stuff we were taking. Then I remembered that the God of my understanding is All Power, All Strength, and Omnipresence. Once I remembered this Truth, I realized I had nothing to worry about and, as in the past, all was taken care of.

I do not know how I would get by in life with all its challenges without this knowing that there is a Presence that is always present and always active in my life. There was a time in my life that I did not have this connection and although I got by, it was a dark and gloomy existence without hope or faith that things would always be ok (even though it might not be as I wanted but was always what I needed).

Do you have a Higher Power that you know is always looking out for you and for your highest good? If you do not, I suggest you work on finding one that will be there for you – in both the highs and lows of life.

For me, I found that God in Unity and for that, I will always be eternally grateful to a friend who introduced me to a faith where I found this Presence and Power that is Always With Me. Thank you Mary wherever you are!
