MIDWEEK MESSAGE – February 12, 2020

Let me be the first to wish you all a Happy Valentine’s Day. Whether you have someone special in your life or not, Valentine’s Day is about Love and we can all benefit from giving and receiving more love.

The key to that is the giving because we usually get based on what we give. If we are not loving how can we expect others to love us? There is something magical that happens when we are Love personified in this world.

If you don’t have anyone in your life to celebrate Valentine’s Day (or even if you do), think about ways you can give Love to those people who may not always feel it. Give some flowers to someone (not your significant other) who may be feeling lonely or bring some food to a neighbor or send an anonymous card to someone, so they know there is a person out there who cares about them.

This Valentine’s Day let’s take the commercialism out of the holiday and replace it with genuine Love and Kindness.

Quote of the Week

“The only way to make sure you’re happy is to love and care for others, even when they don’t do the same. Spread love in the ways you know how because the love you give is its own reward.”
